Mrs. Matteo began her journey in the legal field after graduating from high school in 1998. While attending college at Northeast Community College, she worked part-time at Albin Law Office. Soon thereafter, she earned a Legal Office Technology diploma and an Associates of Arts degree in paralegal studies. It was at this point that she accepted a paralegal position at Stratton, Ptak & Kube. While there, she had the opportunity to assist with a wide variety of personal injury cases.
In 2003, Mrs. Matteo married and promptly moved to the Kansas City area. Upon her arrival, she went to work for Monsees, Miller, Mayer, Presley & Amick—where she remained for the following ten years. In that time, she was able to lend a hand to the resolution of numerous personal injury and wrongful death claims, including those that involved motor vehicle accidents, products liability and medical malpractice. For this reason, the team at Meyerkord & Russell knew that she would be a logical fit for our firm.
