Attorney Nick Hergott has recently been selected as the 2021 President-Elect for the Kansas City Metropolitan Board Association Solo Practitioner/Small Firm Section Committee.
"The KCMBA is a great resource for the legal community," Nick shared. "They have been instrumental in helping me develop my leadership skills and connecting me with other leaders in the field. I look forward to continuing to be involved in 2021."
Nick has been involved with the KCMBA in many capacities over the past 10 years. In 2014, he graduated from their Bar Leadership Academy, a special program designed to help emerging leaders of the legal profession develop the skills, knowledge and experience needed to become leaders in both the profession and the community.
He has served on the Solo/Small Firm Committee since 2016, acting as the Junior Member at Large and Chair of the CLE Planning Committee. He also serves on their Young Lawyer Section Board of Directors as the Co-Chair of the Special Projects Committee.
Nick was awarded the KCMBA Young Lawyer of the Year Award in 2015.
