We are proud to announce that partner Nick Hergott has been recognized by the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association (KCMBA) as the Young Lawyer of the Year.
About the KCMBA & Young Lawyer of the Year Award
The KCMBA serves approximately 5,000 members by promoting justice, professional excellence and respect for the law. The Young Lawyer of the Year award recognizes a lawyer under the age of 36 for significant community, civic, and professional work. Nick will be recognized at an awards dinner on Friday, May 15th during the 42nd Annual Bench-Bar & Boardroom Conference at Chateau on the Lake in Branson, Missouri.
About Nick Hergott
Nick has been practicing law since 2010 when he graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. Upon graduation, Nick founded Hergott Law and began practicing personal injury law. In 2014, he joined forces with Meyerkord, Russell & Hergott to become Meyerkord, Russell & Hergott where he handles auto accident, medical malpractice, workers' compensation and premises liability cases. Outside of the firm, Nick serves on the Board of Directors of the KCMBA's Young Lawyers Section as Vice Chair of the Special Projects Committee and gives back to the community through the Volunteer Attorney Project.
