A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

There is no better way to prove a case than with pictures and video footage. Whether you were injured in a car accident, trucking accident, slip and fall, or have suffered any other kind of personal injury, immediately photographing the scene and your injuries is vitally important. Unlike police reports, witness statements, and other written materials, pictures depict firsthand information and the quality of the information does not fade over time, like memories.

As a Kansas City personal injury attorney handling cases involving car accidents, truck accidents, pedestrian accidents, slip and falls, and many other personal injury cases, I go to great lengths to photograph damaged cars, accident scenes, and clients' injuries. I often find myself in grungy tow lots taking pictures of damaged cars or in a store taking pictures of where a client fell. I do this because of the importance of photographs.

It is also important to get the necessary pictures as soon after an injury as possible. This is because wounds heal, cars get scrapped, and injury scenes get cleaned up or fixed. So, make sure you take pictures as soon after an injury as possible, or call an lawyer who will can take pictures for you on your behalf.
