Due to this recent addition, we have changed our firm name from Meyerkord & Russell to Meyerkord, Russell & Hergott. Mr. Hergott is a highly skilled Kansas City personal injury attorney who brings valuable experience to our firm. We are honored to have him aboard. Prior to joining our law firm, Attorney Hergott founded and ran his own legal practice, which was called Hergott Law, LLC.
Within just three years of the launch of his practice, he succeeded in obtaining almost $1 million in compensation for the wrongfully injured. Now that he is with Meyerkord, Russell & Hergott, we are excited to see what he will be able to accomplish next. Attorney Hergott is prepared to handle several different types of personal injury matters, as he has experience representing injury victims in medical malpractice cases, workers' compensation cases, car accident cases and premises liability cases.
Attorney Hergott is admitted to practice law in Kansas and Missouri, both in state and federal courts. He serves as a Board of Director for the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association Young Lawyers Section (KCMBA YLS), particularly in the role of the Special Projects Committee's Vice Chair. Furthermore, he maintains membership in various professional organizations and participates in the Volunteer Attorney Project. He received his law degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, where he graduated among the 10% in his class.
